Here is a behind-the-scenes look at the new ABC Carpet & Home campaign. ABC just launched their new fall 2013 Rug collection, AURA. The campaign was shot at the East End of Long Island at the Long House Reserve set within 16 acres of curated gardens and sculpture art. Shot under the night sky, the Aura collection was meticulously illuminated beside the sculpture garden, giving the campaign an air of mystique. Photographer Jason Madara expertly balanced lightness and darkness, complementing the palatial rugs against the moody landscape.
The luxurious rug line is inspired by ancient Indian art of color meditation and woven by artisans from recycled saris. The silken creations are paintings in themselves, each their own experiment in light and color.
