The new premises of the Molteni&C|Dada flagship store in London (set to open officially in early 2018 at 245-249 Brompton Road) hosted the “Other Stories” installation during the London Design Festival. Designed by Vincent Van Duysen, the project covers 700 square meters, spanning over two levels between Molteni&C and Dada.
Molteni&C|Dada collaborated with Kvadrat to create an exhibition for the London Design Festival this year based on Brompton Design District’s chosen theme, “Other Stories – alternative perspectives on design.” On view from September 16-24, the presentation approached design from unconventional angles while exploring contemporary social issues. The collaboration also celebrated renowned Italian architect and designer Gio Ponti, featuring modernized versions of a selection of his works (presented by Van Duysen and upholstered in fabrics from the Kvadrat/Raf Simons collection) as well as a documentary movie by Molteni&C, Amare Gio Ponti.
