Whitewaller New York 2018: WantedDesign Fair Opens This Week

This week, WantedDesign celebrates its eighth iteration in Manhattan (May 19–22, 2018) at the Terminal Stores Building and its fifth edition in Brooklyn (May 17–21, 2018) at Industry City. In its conception, WantedDesign was a meeting point of culture and commerce. Today, it stands as a must-see of contemporary international design, serving as an immersive design space and platform to broadcast design highlights. The programming opens itself to enthusiasts, architects, interior designers, editors, curators—all those looking for collaboration, inspiration, and outstanding design.

The program roster features a series of workshops, talks, and exhibitions, such as a student-oriented hands-on design collaboration, a showcase of emerging talent, a career fair, and an international pavilion. The nearly 100 participants include 57th Street Design, Central Saint Martins, Design Within Reach, the Finnish Cultural Institute, and Luvere Studio and cultural partners Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, Museum of Arts and Design (MAD), and Cultural Services of the French Embassy.
