Tadashi Shoji Fall/Winter 2017

Tadashi Shoji Embraces Our Changing World

Eliza Jordan

13 February 2017

Without a doubt, today the world is going through some major changes. Freedom of expression is vital, now more than ever, during these times of great uncertainty—whether you reside in London, Berlin, Japan, Paris, or New York. The ability to create something unapologetically extravagant, reserved, or downright daring, is liberating.

With these freedom-forward thoughts in mind, Tadashi Shoji presented its fall 2017 collection at this year’s New York Fashion Week. In the line were many sequined numbers, velvet gowns, and fur collars elevating several decadent coats. Bold and sophisticated colors like emerald green, royal purple, and deep red stood out. To coincide with the show, the brand also debuted their fragrance collaboration with Eau De Rose.
