Brand New: Light Up Nir Hod’s Oligarch Nights and Freeze Out with David Yurman’s Ice Sculpture

Eliza Jordan

20 December 2017

The holidays are all about giving—and what better way than with gifts by brands that collaborate with artists? Below, we’re giving you a few selections of creative ideas to see, to gift, and to enjoy.

David Yurman is partnering with artist Shintaro Okamoto to create a large-scale ice sculpture that mimics the shape of an iconic David Yurman Cable Bracelet. This Saturday from 12–6 p.m. at the brand’s SoHo store, guests will have the opportunity to see the stunning sculpture.

New as well is the exclusive selection of Gucci’s Cruise 2018 collection that is now available at Dover Street Market (DSM). For both men and women, the special pieces will be available around the globe, at DSM New York, London, Ginza, Singapore and I.T. Beijing Market. The house’s iconic tiger, bee, and restyled Gucci logo are seen mixed between playful spellings of Guccify, Guccy, and Guccification.

And Nir Hod partnered with The Prospect NY for a capsule collection. The new candle set OLIGARCH NIGHTS includes four onyx-toned, crystal votives with the names Natasha, Tatyana, Svetlana, and Melania. The names reference the widening gap between classes, calling upon the current First Lady and others. The set also features two custom scents created by Yael Alkalay of Red Flower—Moscow Leather and La Femme Noir.
