The Spa at Bvlgari Hotel & Residences in London is a tranquil oasis. Designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners, the 21,528-square-foot space occupies two levels and features 11 treatment rooms, a relaxation area, an 82-foot swimming pool, a vitality pool, a double spa suite, a fitness center by Workshop Gymnasium, and exclusive SPA/CLINIC by 111SKIN treatments.
Whitewaller spoke with Dr. Yannis Alexandrides, the founder of 111SKIN, about its presence at the hotel and his top wellness-related advice.

WHITEWALLER: Can you tell us a bit about 111SKIN?
DR. YANNIS ALEXANDRIDES: 111SKIN is a potent combination of surgical expertise, innovative formulations, and a deep understanding of skin’s 3-D reparative process. Originally created to help patients’ skin heal after surgery, my brand focuses on pioneering solutions for specific skincare concerns and delivers clinical results. Believing in prevention—not intervention—each specially created product is inspired by my daily interactions with patients, medical observations, and extensive knowledge to ensure that the complexion is truly transformed.

WW: Tell us a bit about what you offer at the Bvlgari Spa.
YA: At the Bvlgari Spa we offer a menu of clinically curated face and body treatments using a combination of highly effective skincare, pioneering technologies, and aesthetic techniques to ensure the customer has a truly unique, luxurious experience and results that rival in-clinic treatments.

When designing these treatments, I was heavily influenced by my surroundings at Harley Street—especially the use of technology, therefore some of the facials and massages on offer include use of tools such as LED, Dermapen, Cryotherapy, and High Frequency, which really enhance the final result.
WW: Why did you want to have SPA/CLINIC by 111SKIN here, opposed to another location?

YA: London is thriving with arguably some of the most luxurious hotel destinations in the world. The Bvlgari Hotel is one of them. It was important to me that we partnered with a hotel that represented our values and were excited about our clinical point of difference. It was no question that we would choose The Bvlgari Hotel, which I believe offers the most forward-thinking spa in the city.
As a spa, it is like no other, capturing a zen-like atmosphere in an ultra-chic environment. It has the edge that meets our brand’s vision and possesses a certain VIP exclusivity as you visit, paying homage to the wider Bvlgari portfolio. This is something I find very intriguing.

WW: If you could give one piece of wellness-related advice, what would it be?
YA: I would most definitely recommend looking after yourself both mentally and physically. In the midst of hectic lifestyles, convenient food choices, and blooming social calendars, our health can suffer. Eating fresh and nutritious food and maintaining high levels of hydration will ensure your body is functioning at its best. For mental recuperation, downtime and relaxation is a must, whether it be a monthly wellness treatment or a fresh country walk. Both are guaranteed to relieve tension and provide an antidote to growing daily pressures.
