Chanel Invites You to The Coco Club

Eliza Jordan

14 November 2017

Last week at The Wing in New York, Chanel opened the doors to “The Coco Club,” in celebration of its BOY∙FRIEND watch. At The Coco Club, guests got to experience a witty, femme twist on a traditional social club, allowing women to gather for enjoyment and escape the confines of time. Encouraged to follow their own set of rules, attendees arrived and checked in to a photo booth. This portrait served as their club passport offering access to the club’s various amenities.

Chanel staged several rooms that catered to what women want. In The Beauty Room, guests interacted with Chanel makeup artists to master the perfect smoky eye and red lip. In The Coco Café, nourishments for the spirit and body were provided, including The Boy’s Club sandwich, The Girl’s Club sandwich, Time Crunch chips, and Hourglass lemonade. After a snack and a chat, it was time to slow down and unwind in The Library. At a long writing desk, and with The Coco Club notepads, guests could jot down their thoughts of the day, unwinding in style. From there, a small trio of rooms separately told the story of time with an emphasis on living in the present; provided guests a personalized reading from a numerologist; and displayed the BOY∙FRIEND watch’s varying cases and straps.

And finally, to celebrate in a true fun-filled fashion way, The Game Room was complete with a custom Ping-Pong table, a pool table, and shuffle board court.
