Last night, Dior held a cocktail event to celebrate the opening of its boutique at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York. Hosted by Dior CEO Sidney Toledano, Dior Artistic Director Maria Grazia Chiuri, and Saks Fifth Avenue President Marc Metrick, the evening also saw the debut of the fashion house’s spring/summer 2017 collection.
Taking inspiration from Grazia Chiuri’s debut with Dior, the third floor of the flagship was transformed for the night with music by DJ Nick Cohen. Guests like Karlie Kloss, Ruth Bell, Rebecca Hall, Makenzie Leigh, Sophie Auster, Rebecca Dayan, Laura Love, Hilary Rhoda, Mia Moretti, Chelsea Leyland, Harley Viera Newton, Hannah Bronfman, Leandra Medine, Indre Rockefeller, Lauren Remington Platt, Fernanda Ly, Charlotte Sarkozy, Shiona Turini, Nathalie de Gunzburg, Sofia Sanchez de Betak, Prosper Assouline, Patrick Demarchelier, Derek Blasberg, Sean Avery, Isaac Hindin-Miller, Frederic Tcheng, Michael Avedon, Brigitte Lacombe, Maripol, Victor Alfaro, Richard Armstrong, and more got a first look at Saks’ Dior-dedicated windows (up through March 28) and an interactive augmented reality Wow Wall.
