On view through tomorrow on the third level concourse of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre during Art Basel Hong Kong is the “Lady Dior As Seen By” exhibition. Paying homage to the first design of The Lady Dior bag from 1995, and celebrating the Dior’s love for art, the exhibition includes collaborations by renowned artists like Olympia Scarry, Kate MccGwire, Kohei Nawa, Ren Hwang, and Sophie Zenon. The showing also features a selection of photographs and sculptures to highlight the craftsmanship and elegance of the iconic handbag.
With a long history connected to the art world (as Christian Dior was an established gallery owner before becoming a couturier), Dior continues to shine light on artistic expression and engagement. For over two decades, established photographers, visual artists, film directors, and video artists have engaged with this dialogue by presenting their take on The Lady Dior all over the world.
